A preservationist and civic activist,
David Duggins began his own law
corporation in 1974 after seven years
of private practice and several years
with Chevron. He graduated from
Metairie Park Country Day School,
attended Brown University, and
earned his B.A and his L.L.B from
Tulane. He was admitted to the
Louisiana Bar Association, the
Commercial Law League of America,
and the National Association of Retail
Collection Attorneys. He has the
highest rating, "A.V." from Martindale-
Hubble for many years. |
He is active in drug |
rehabilitation, historic preservation,
real estate development and
education. He serves on the boards of
the Salvation Army, the Louisiana Civil
Service League, The Rotary Club of
New Orleans and the Velocity
Foundation. He is Married to the
former Elizabeth Laudeman and has
two sons, David and Scott. |
Earning a juris doctorate in 1999 from
Tulane Law School, Scott Duggins was
admitted to the Bar and Joined the
Duggins Law Firm the same year. He
Completed his college preparatory
work at Metairie Park Country Day
School and his undergraduate work in
history and political science at Ole
Miss. At Tulane, he received
Certificates of Merit in Criminal and
Commercial Law, the Walter J. Suthon,
Jr. Award and CALI Excellence for the
Future Award. |
Currently Scott is admitted to |
the American Louisiana
and New Orleans Bar Associations, as well
as the Commercial Law League of America.
He is a member of the National Association
of Retail Collection Attorneys. Scott has served
on the Alumni Board of Metairie Park Country
Day and Save Our Cemeteries, and is currently
a member of the RDA for the Orleans Parish Civil
Sheriff's Office, a member of the Allstate Sugar
Bowl Committee and the Young Leadership Counsel
of New Orleans. |
